Does the DEXA Scan show bone density?
Why opt for a DEXA Scan for Body Composition and Body Fat Analysis?
DEXA body composition assessments deliver comprehensive reports on fat mass, muscle mass, and bone mineral content throughout the entire body, including specific regions such as the waist, hips, arms, legs, and trunk. Unlike other body composition methods like Skinfolds (calipers) and bioelectrical impedance commonly used in gyms, DEXA scans offer unparalleled accuracy and detailed information. BOD ensures the most precise assessment of your body composition by measuring lean tissue, fat, and bone mass while generating an x-ray-like image of your body.
PHY
How long will it take for me to receive my Phy report?
How long does it take each day to do my movement plan?
How are Phy Health reports created?
Phy Health customizable reports harness our vision technology to transform data from an individual’s body scan measurements into a comprehensive, personalized overview of an individual’s musculoskeletal health. These reports have been created by our team specializing in exercise physiology, kinesiology, and Physical therapy, allowing us to offer personalized recommendations designed to correct imbalances and enhance postural patterns. Each report contains a detailed analysis of the user's body alignment and inference of postural and movement patterns, enhanced by a proprietary scoring system (PhyScore) that identifies risk levels in different body zones. This comprehensive approach provides both the strengths and potential areas of vulnerability in one’s musculoskeletal structure. In short, Phy Health's personalized reports serve as a comprehensive guide for both individuals and health and wellness practitioners, allowing targeted preventative measures and more effective treatment strategies.

How do you ensure people are doing their exercises properly?
Detailed Instructions: Each movement plan and exercise in the program is accompanied by clear instructions, providing guidance on focus and duration.
How do I prepare for my PHY scan?
There's no real preparation required, other than when it comes to clothing/attire. We suggest skin-tight clothing, like compression shorts for men and yoga pants and a sports bra for women. As long as the contour of the body is visible, the scan should capture without issue.
Additionally, for those with long-hair, we ask that they tie their hair up so that the back of their neck is visible. It's good practice to keep some hair ties around as customers tend to forget this.
FITNESS panels
Is the BOD/SiPhox Fitness blood test kit equivalent to standard labs?
Which biomarkers are being tested?
Each test kit provides insight into the following biomarkers:
Men’s Fitness Panel: 1. Ferritin, 2. Homocysteine, 3. Hs-CRP, 4. Vitamin D, 5. HbA1c, 6. Insulin, 7. TC:HDL ratio, 8. TG:HDL ratio, 9. Cortisol, 10. TSH, 11. ApoA1, 12. ApoB, 13. ApoB:ApoA1 ratio, 14. LDL, 15. HDL, 16. Total cholesterol, 17. Triglycerides. 18. Testosterone, total, 19. DHEA-S, 20. Testosterone:Cortisol ratio
Women’s Fitness Panel: 1. Ferritin, 2. Homocysteine, 3. Hs-CRP, 4. Vitamin D, 5. HbA1c, 6. Insulin, 7. TC:HDL ratio, 8. TG:HDL ratio, 9. Cortisol, 10. TSH, 11. ApoA1, 12. ApoB, 13. ApoB:ApoA1 ratio, 14. LDL, 15. HDL, 16. Total cholesterol, 17. Triglycerides, 18. Estradiol, 19. FSH
NOTE – The biological sex selection will define which panel you are tested on. Biological males may choose to be tested on the female panel, but not vice versa. This is due to the sensitivity limitiations of testosterone.
When will I receive my results?
Do I have to fast before my test? For more accurate results, it is recommended that you fast for 8-10 hours prior to taking the test.
